The Naxos Quarry Project

The Naxos Quarry Project (NQP) was started in 2023 and is a small, international group of researchers focused on the holistic documentation of ancient quarrying and marble manufacture on the Cycladic island of Naxos.NQP is deeply interdisciplinary, drawing from a range of different study areas like architecture, sculpture, pottery, geology, botany, and remote sensing.
